Our Story, Mission & Values

Brewlab Holdings Incorporated is a registered Australian charity on a mission to build stronger, more connected communities through the power of craft brewing education and social enterprise.

From Passion to Purpose

Brewlab Holdings Incorporated was born from a simple yet powerful idea: that craft brewing could be more than just a hobby or a business. It could be a catalyst for real, lasting community change. Founded in Hobart, Tasmania, our charity emerged from a grassroots movement of local brewing enthusiasts, educators, and community leaders who recognised the untapped potential of the craft brewing industry as a force for social good.

What started as informal brewing workshops and community gatherings quickly evolved into a structured charitable organisation dedicated to providing accessible education, vocational training, and social enterprise opportunities to individuals and communities across greater Hobart. In 2024, we formalised our commitment by registering with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), ensuring that our work is governed by the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and community benefit.

Today, Brewlab Holdings operates from our base at 22 Gepp Parade in Derwent Park, where we continue to grow our programs, expand our reach, and deepen our impact across Tasmania. Every program we deliver, every workshop we host, and every partnership we forge is guided by our unwavering belief that when communities come together, extraordinary things happen.
